OUACHITA BAPTIST BEGINS SPRING SEASON

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – The Ouachita Baptist men’s golf team began the spring season Monday afternoon in the Doyle Wade Classic, hosted by Henderson State, by placing eighth after the first round with a 32-over-par 320.

Rob Greer is the only Ouachita Baptist golfer in the top 20 as he is 17th after the first round. Greer fired a 5-over 77. Blake Sisson is tied for 27th after a 79 and Klayton Seyler is tied for 31st with an 80. Jeremy Huges and Dax Demaree are tied at 41st with 84s.

Northeastern State is in first and two strokes ahead of host Henderson State with a 294. Arkansas Tech is third after firing a 299. Paris Community College (300) and Delta State (305) round out the top five, respectively. Harding (309), Christian Brothers (318), Ouachita Baptist (320), Missouri-St. Louis (327) and Southwest Baptist (341) round out the 10-team field.
